Family Industries first became a Customization Merch Agency in 2009 working with big companies such as Toyota, Amoeba Music, and various music festivals all around the US and Canada, offering live on-site activations such as screen printing, sublimation, embroidery, and much more!

Throughout the years Max Hellman and Alex Meiners, the founders of Family Industries, have built an impressive operation taking their equipment on the road accompanied by an all-star team that ensures client satisfaction. The Family Industries team acts as ambassadors for brands, bringing not only the merch but representing the company at the events. This type of service is what sets Family Industries apart from the competition.

As we entered into 2020 with high hopes and expectations, we were hit with a pandemic and like many other companies, Max and Alex had to think fast and quickly pivot to a business model that was unfamiliar, virtual events.

Suddenly, live screen printing was not possible and in order to stay in business, many entertainment and service companies took the virtual route. Max and Alex along with the help of their developers adapted their interactive activations app for the web. As virtual events began to ramp up and take the place of in-person events, Family Industries followed by offering customization options for the virtual attendees. Virtual events now had an edge and could offer their guests free and promotional gifts that would be sent directly to their homes.

Big events such as Amazon’s Prime Pride Inside Festival, Amazon – Virtual Comic-Con, Lollapalooza, and Bonaroo sought the help from Family Industries to build a virtual customizable screen printing booth to offer free promotional items and encourage their attendees to interact with their product and create their own personalized t-shirts.
