The Lowdown

The Broccoli City Festival in Washington, D.C., was a vibrant celebration of hip-hop, culture, and community. Set in the heart of the nation’s capital, the festival showcased some of the biggest names in the industry over two exhilarating days. Amid the music and excitement, our live customization team partnered with Giant Spoon Events and Walmart for their impactful “be a megaphone for the black creators you love” campaign, known as The Shoutout.

The Walmart booth became a focal point of the festival, with lines stretching endlessly as attendees eagerly awaited their turn. The reason for the crowd? The opportunity to customize a long-sleeve t-shirt that celebrated and promoted their favorite black creators and businesses. Once at the front, guests chose from two t-shirt designs and were prompted with “Ask Me About.” They then filled in the blank with their personal shoutout.

Using state-of-the-art live sublimation printing, our team brought these unique designs to life. The energy at the booth was electric, with festival-goers excitedly watching their ideas transform into wearable art. Each shirt became a powerful statement, helping to amplify voices and support black creators.

The collaboration with Walmart and Big Spoon Events added a meaningful and creative dimension to the Broccoli City Festival, making it an unforgettable experience for all involved. The Shoutout booth not only provided stylish and personalized apparel but also fostered a sense of community and empowerment throughout the event.
