Making Hoop Dreams a reality by putting the fan on their own custom cereal box.
The Lowdown
Guests got personalized mini-cereal boxes featuring a cartoon version of their own photo, mocked up using Google Pixel’s AI and applied as a sticker to a pre-printed box.
A 4-person team ran the whole process on-site, from photo capture to final handoff, keeping the line moving through design, print, and assembly.
Guests snapped a selfie on a Google Pixel phone, and the phone’s AI turned it into a cartoon image mocked up on a cereal box. That design went into a custom mobile app where guests picked their box style and submitted it. The team printed the image as a sticker, applied it to a mini-cereal box, and packed it in a Google-branded PVC bag for the guest to take home.
Google Pixel, working through Fulwell Entertainment, wanted to show off its AI photo tech with a fun, personalized keepsake at WNBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago. The mini-cereal box format gave guests something tangible and shareable, tying the tech demo directly to a physical product they could walk away with.
