Shark Week Takes a Bite Out of San Diego Comic Con. In July 2019, Shark Week swam into San Diego Comic Con, creating a frenzy of excitement among attendees. Discovery Channel joined forces with Family Industries to bring an unforgettable activation to the convention floor.
Our team was on site, live screen printing custom Shark Week designs onto shirts for the eager Comic Con crowd. With each unique design, fans had a piece of this jaw-some collaboration to take home.
The event vibe was electric, as two pop culture phenomenons collided in the best way possible. Attendees were beyond excited for their custom tees, as well as the other activities, including an insanely large mechanical shark, shark hat giveaways, and non-stop entertainment.
In the end, the Shark Week x San Diego Comic Con experience was a BIG hit, leaving attendees with a fin-tastic memento to remember the unforgettable encounter between sharks and superheroes.
