The Lowdown
Super Bowl week is chaos in the best way — and high above downtown San Francisco, Nike created something entirely different. Inside the rooftop oasis of Chotto Matte, the Nike Super Bowl Athlete House became a sanctuary in the middle of the storm. More than 80 athletes flowed through the space with their families and teams, balancing media hits and game prep with moments to reset, connect, and soak in culture.
Performance innovation lived everywhere you looked — from hands-on sessions with Nike’s cleated teams to immersive demos of the Nike Mind 001 and 002 and sleek Nike Vision eyewear. But tucked into the rhythm of golf simulator swings and elevated bites was a space that hit differently: our live customization studio.
Powered by bold, electric artwork from local creative SKO Habibi, the studio brought heat — literally and creatively. Athletes stepped up to build their own hoodies and crewnecks, layering transfers that ranged from striking Nike Swooshes wrapping hoods and sleeves to oversized, event-only Super Bowl LX graphics that demanded attention. The designs were vibrant, expressive, and unapologetically loud — a perfect contrast to the clean architecture of the rooftop setting.
Our team moved fast, pressing each piece to perfection while guests curated their look in real time. Some kept it minimal with a single sharp hit. Others went all in — stacking graphics, building out sleeves, making statements that felt as bold as the week itself.
By the end of each night, the lounge wasn’t just filled with elite athletes — it was filled with custom, one-of-one pieces that reflected personality, swagger, and Super Bowl energy. Nike Athlete House wasn’t just a reset space. It was a creative playground. And we were proud to help turn that rooftop into a studio where sport, art, and individuality collided.
